Saved By The Angels

Saved By The Angels

Laughing aloud
clasping hands with the angels
the dream felt real
even after opening my eyes
Watching each breath dissipate into the air
shivering beneath thin hospital blankets
My fingers stretch out to touch what remains
and as the laughter fades away
all that is left is a gentle breeze

I do believe angels watch over us. It gives me some peace in all the torment that is in this world. Beautiful poem.

This is beautiful!

Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog :) I hate the idea of "shoving it down your throat" as well, but I stress the importance of sharing faith (not that I do it enough), because look at it from our point of view - we have something AMAZING and wonderful that we believe is of such enormous benefit to others who find out about it.

Like you, I don't like to feel out of control. Which makes this slowing down & trusting God thing pretty challenging, but I really realise the importance of it.

With regards to 'blind faith' - I replied on Rachel's blog about this subject so feel free to check out my reply (also her & her blog are awesome anyway) and if you have any questions or anything I'd love to talk to you a bit more about it :)

No need to apologise for the long comment - I love hearing from people reading what I have to say! Sorry to have hijacked this post a bit though, I'm never sure whether to reply on my blog or on others', as I don't know if everyone would check back!

Have a lovely day :) x x

I usually just read your blog in silence, and I am very proud of everything you do. I, myself, am trying tor recover from a lot, and you give me a lot of motivation.
But, this poem is amazing, and I love it.
