Poetry and thoughts on my journey toward healing and unlocking the silence within. Words are magic. Words have the power to heal, so find your voice, and fly

Thought of the Day:
"It is better to create than to learn! Creating is the essence of life." - Julius Caesar
Keep creating great poems and you will be what you create. Great!
Love
Congratulations on getting a place of your own. I think it is important (especially in a house with four kids!).
Looking forward to reading more,
Jennifer
Congrats on the new space, a b it small, but any port in a storm. Did that say ALL your books? All my books barely fit in the house, let alone on a small table.
I like the lamp, too.
You WERE a writer (wonderful one by the way...) who just got an "official" space to create. :)
Yes. Isn't it lovely. Did I say all of my books? Well, not all, but some of the important ones, anyway. I was just sitting on the living room couch, so this feels great, and much more private and peaceful. I love it!
I already knew you were a writer, a wonderful one too--but I know that feeling of finally having your own space just for writing. Somehow it makes one feel so much more like a serious writer.
May you continue writing poetry that speaks to the hearts of survivors everywhere!
I'm so happy you have your own space...every woman needs that. :)
Happy writing!
I was just missing you and catching up on your blog and saw your Syd pic in your special place.
She loves you, too, and asks about you often. See you're busy with your mom (that's wonderful, btw) so let me know when we can see you.
Love (((((((((((((you)))))))))))))

I think it was Virginia Woolf who wrote about how women need a "room of our own" to do . . . whatever. I share a studio with my husband and it isn't the same, but it's better than just spreading out on the couch (I know that one very well!)
Keep up the good work - it looks divine!
