I'm doing a quick blog post at work during my lunch break, since I've been so exhausted after work. I think it's going to take me awhile to get back in the swing of things after a whole summer without a schedule. That's okay though. I'm really loving my job this year. I'm trying not to stress about our money situation at the moment, and my therapist said that she could still see me even though we can't afford the co-pay. My nutritionist said that she would touch base with me over the phone, and I will be fine with that. I'm still restricting, but the purging is getting better. I'm frustrated that the restricting isn't really doing much to affect my weight, but that doesn't seem to be stopping me from doing it. That is how I know that it isn't about the weight. I'm not quite sure what it is about. I know that it makes me feel calmer and more in control of my life. I'm really going to try to get back on track. Eating lunch at work is very hard for me. I don't feel comfortable eating in the teachers lounge. Eating with strangers is hard for me, so my therapist wants me to work on doing that. I'm not ready yet though. Maybe once I feel more comfortable in the school, and get to know more people , it will be easier.
All in all, my life feels really good right now:)

I am so glad to hear that your therapist is so nice. That is a rare find.
Hang in there. Your post are sounding more and more positive every time I come here.
I have trouble with strangers also. But, I force myself and before I know it I have made new friends and the fear disappears.
I know this is corny but remember the fear is always worse than the actual doing.
I just know you can do this. I hope to read by next week that you stood up to the fear, walked into that lounge and shared lunch with others.
Even if it's just some celery or an apple to start with at least it would be a start.
I am just happy to be reading these positive post.
Just remember how many of us here online will be with you, by your side, when you do eat that lunch!!

My work has gaps as well and those first few days back are always a bit odd.
find other teachers who don't eat in the teacher's lounge and find something to ask them so you can eat in their room or were ever they eat. You might try the smoking area if there is one. They love it when non-smokers hang out there and most of them are messed up too.
you'll be back in the swing of it before you know it because you are loving what you are doing. that makes all the difference.
taking things moment by moment and keeping positive thoughts in your head will create more positive things in your life.
