Inside this empty atmosphere
where the silence shatters
with each shard of glass
cutting the flesh
laid open and raw
Floating above
detached and emotionless
dissecting the wounds
Secret scars
hidden behind a smile
so quiet and still
Afraid to take a breath
or make a sound

Yes, everyone can hear you. I hear and I can still see you. It did serve a purpose and I do not understand how you cannot hang on to that and make it through the otherside of this. Standing on the other side, I can only see the damage it caused, but yet you tell me it did not. I see the aftermath and you see your world going down, but yet you say there was light. I do not understand how the S on my chest is the light for the world when I am unable to save the world.
