The Tears Of Winter
The snow floats
gently to the ground
collecting along the cracks
in the pavement
Sticking stubbornly
to the lashes of downcast eyes
Melting, mingling
with tears
waiting for so long
to be shed.
Embrace these sorrowful days
of winter's frozen heart
