Unbroken
I’m held hostage
by your eyes…
the way you see
inside my soul.
Your voice
soothes my tattered heart,
mending it piece by piece.
Everytime I see you,
I want to run
into the warm strength
of your arms.
I long to hold your hands
to my face,
kissing each fingertip
before it touches my skin.
No longer do I feel broken
With you, I soar.
